Millwall will head into Monday night’s game in the Championship against Bristol City on the back of a four-match winless run which has left The Lions sitting outside of the play-off pack in 7th place.
Points picked up in draws with Derby County and Ipswich Town have been overshadowed by recent defeats to Hull City and Blackburn Rovers so Millwall manager Alex Neil will be urging his players to re-discover the sort of form which brought the London club three straight wins on the trot.

Bristol City made it back-to-back wins in the Championship on Boxing Day when The Robins registered a 2-1 win away from home at West Brom which followed a previous 2-0 home win against 2nd placed Middlesbrough.
Gerhard Struber’s side will therefore also be in confident mood as they prepare for this visit to the nation’s capital on Monday night, although it should be noted that recent losses away from home at Coventry City and Wrexham serve as a reminder that Bristol City have been susceptible on the road this season.
An away record of 5-3-3 14/12 does not look entirely convincing where Bristol City have been concerned, so the visitors are by no means guaranteed a result at The Den on Monday night despite Millwall’s recent winless run.
