Boston United picked up a point on Boxing Day in the National League thanks to a 2-2 draw away from home at York City but results overall have been pretty poor in recent times for Graham Coughlan’s side as they have managed to capture just one win from their last nine matches in all competitions.
That rare success came in the shape of a 3-0 win away from home at Morecambe but otherwise, six defeats within this period have overshadowed Boston United’s modest returns.

Gavin Cowan’s side have also been handed no fewer than six losses within their last seven matches in the National League which suggests The Saints could well struggle at York Street on Tuesday night.
Three of these six losses were inflicted upon Gavin Cowan’s side on their travels with defeats incurred at the hands of Altrincham, Morecambe and Woking respectively, while Brackley Town’s away record of 1-3-7 6/16 has been a poor return for their efforts on the road this season.
