It would have been premature regardless, but some fans in North London may have begun to load the cooler with champagne as title rivals Manchester City trailed 1-0 at Anfield with the minutes ticking down. A significant gap would have been opened up by Arsenal at the top of the Division, but Pep Guardiola's men found a way to turn things around and beat Liverpool 1-2, while also having a big opportunity to try and turn the screw on The Gunners.

Fulham
They may still be an inconsistent team, but Fulham are plenty dangerous and will need to be respected when they travel to the North West. The disappointing 1-2 defeat to Everton at Craven Cottage this past weekend stung, but manager Marco Silva pointed out that his team could have been out of sight before conceding two late goals in their bid to earn a spot in European Football.

Additionally, Pep Guardiola's men invested a lot of physical and emotional effort to fight back and win at Liverpool and that may mean the team needs to be freshened up a little bit.
Erling Haaland was influential in the turnaround, which is a boost for Manchester City after some recent underwhelming performances from the Norwegian, while injuries are beginning to clear up.
Pep Guardiola has challenged his team to put a strong run together and see if they can rattle Premier League leaders Arsenal and they can halve the deficit at the top of the table with another win over Fulham.
No one should be taking anything for granted having seen the efforts Fulham made in almost erasing a 1-5 deficit in the eventual 4-5 home loss to Manchester City in December. There are still some vulnerabilities at the back that Fulham will be looking to exploit, although Marco Silva's men have also had one or two defensive issues in recent games.

Fulham have tended to play their part in fixtures against Manchester City, especially under Marco Silva, but they may still come up short in this one with the home team likely to find enough in the final third to secure the maximum points.
