If they beat SC Freiburg, RB Leipzig will finish on 68 points, surpassing their best-ever record of 67 points set in the Bundesliga season 2016/17.
Largely responsible for their successes this season is the Ivorian striker Yan Diomande. He has been the revelation of the season, joining the team before the start of this season. He scored 12 goals and made 7 goal assists in his debut Bundesliga season, which is impressive.

However, this game has no meaning for RB Leipzig. They are guaranteed third, regardless of the outcome. But it has more meaning to SC Freiburg.
