South Africa finally got on the board with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Czechia. While they remain at the bottom of Group A, the result kept their slim qualification hopes alive. Hugo Broos' side now knows that only a victory gives them any realistic chance of reaching the knockout rounds.
Goals have been the problem. South Africa have scored just once in two matches and have struggled to create clear opportunities from open play.
Ronwen Williams has once again been one of their standout performers, but they need more support at the other end of the pitch.

South Korea followed their impressive comeback win over Czechia with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Mexico. Despite the loss, they remain in control of the race for second place and know that a draw would almost certainly be enough to advance.
Son Heung-min remains the star attraction, but South Korea's strength throughout the group stage has been their organization. They have looked comfortable against both opponents and should fancy their chances against a South African side that has struggled for goals.
