PREVIEW
Seriously, why 12:37?
Toronto will be confident of sweeping Seattle with a win today, having tonked them last night for a second game in a row. If Seattle lose, it will be their 12th loss in a row, which would be their worst run in 3 years. Yikes!
Southpaw Ricky Romero goes for the Blue Jays under what will be a closed roof due to high temperatures. Romero is 7-9 with a 3.18ERA, which is impressive. He has a losing record due to his last 2 starts, where he gave up 14 runs combined. Prior to that, he;s been very impressive, as the ERA suggests. In head-to-head Romero is 0-1 against the Mariners in 1 career start but he was actually good in that game, giving up just 3 games in almost 9 innings.
The woeful Mariners send out Doug Fister. His 3-11 record looks ominous and you've got to feel for the guy when you see his ERA is 3.18. Yep, run support is killing this mans spirit too as he can't seem to get any. His recent record reads 6 losses in 8 starts and that is purely due to the misfiring Seattle bats, because he had a 3.12ERA in that time. In head-to-head, Fister is 0-2 against the Blue Jays with a 4.30ERA.
Fister will have to contend with the likes of Travis Snider, who is hitting .357 for Toronto in 13 games and hammered in a 3 run homer yesterday. Lind and Bautista are always dangers to anyone pitching against Toronto, and Fister will have to work hard to avoid them jacking his head-to-head ERA closer to 5.00.

BETTING VERDICT
I see no reason to change the bet from yesterday. Blue Jays for me but with the price on the straight win a bit expensive, consider a bet on Toronto -1.5 (runline)
The Pick :
Toronto Blue Jays
