Match Preview :

After managing back to back wins, Milan could only manage a draw in their last match and will now hope to get back to winning ways when they entertain Siena who has lost their last three games in a row and struggling at the bottom end.

Milan had managed seven wins in their last eight games before it was halted by Bologna in the pulsating 2-2 draw last weekend. Marco Amelia took the blame for the draw as his mistake allowed Alessandro Diamanti to equalise.

Christian Abbiati should return to replace Amelia in goal after being out for three weeks with a shoulder injury. Despite the return of Abiatti, AC Milan still have a long injury list with the likes of Mario Yepes who is out until March after ankle surgery, joining Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso, Antonio Cassano, Mathieu Flamini and possibly also Gianluca Zambrotta on the treatment table.

Daniele Bonera is set to step in at centre-back, while Antonio Nocerino has also recovered from a knock and is set to feature.

For Siena, they lost their last three games and have failed to score in each of those matches. However in midweek they changed all that when they scored 4 goals to get a 4-4 draw with Palermo in the Coppa Italia. Then Siena won the penalty shootout to reach the quarter-finals for the first time in their history.

As for their side, Simone Vergassola and Nicola Belmonte look likely to miss out due to injury. Cristian Del Grosso plays but with a protective mask after breaking his nose.

Mattia Destro should return, as the Under-21 international striker who has a slight injury concern will put his team first.

Siena's record at the San Siro does not make good reading. They managed a single goalless draw in 2006 and lost six times scoring four goals and conceded 14!
