2012-08-18 - Queen Park Rangers vs Swansea
A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Match Preview :
Queen Park Rangers survived in the Premiership on the last day of the season despite losing to Champions Manchester City due to the results elsewhere so this season they will be looking for a big improvement after a busy summer in the transfer market.
The likes of Ji-sung Park, Rob Green, Ryan Nelsen, Samba Diakité, Andy Johnson and Junior Hoilett fit the bill for Hughes with varying degrees of Premier League experience, while a loan deal for Manchester United's Fabio was also concluded well ahead of the new season.
Meanwhile Swansea embark on a new era under the guidance of Michael Laudrup and it will be interesting to see how Swansea fares after the departure of manager Brendan Rodgers to Liverpool.
Joe Allen followed Brendan Rodgers to Liverpool, while Gylfi Sigurdsson's successful loan at the Liberty Stadium did not become permanent.
Michu, Jonathan de Guzman and Chico Flores have arrived in south Wales and hopes are high that Swansea's much-admired attacking approach will continue under Laudrup who will aim to carry on the philosophy under Rodgers.
