The opening match of the weekend is that between SC Heerenveen and NAC Breda with both teams struggling over the past few weeks.
SC Heerenveen
With three points from six games, SC Heerenveen is still looking for their first win under team manager Van Basten. Last weekend the team suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat on the road to FC Twente and it has to be said that the visitors did not have the best of luck.
The best chances were created by SC Heerenveen and the team slowly seems to get back on track with Finnbogason (att) scoring three goals against the amateurs of Kozakken Boys last Wednesday in the Dutch Cup.
For the game against NAC Breda the team will be without defenders Kum (def) and Zuiverloon (def) while former NAC player Amoah (att) will make his return in the squad after picking up an injury in July.

NAC Breda grabbed their first win of the season last week at home to AZ Alkmaar with the hosts turning around the score in the second half after getting 0-1 down halfway the first half.
Goals from Luijckx (def) and De Roover (def) allowed NAC Breda to climb to the 13th place in the table but the goal scoring capacity of the team is a factor that seems to get worrying.
Three goals in their first five games and two goals from defenders against AZ is hardly something to be proud of and NAC Breda may once be punished for this on Saturday.
Defenders Seuntjes (def), Looms (def), Edwards (def) and Zonneveld (def) will most likely remain sidelined while Lurling (att) may return in the starting eleven after a clash with coach Karelse last week.
