Champions League Betting: Arsenal Face Bayern as Barcelona and PSG Lead the Market

The Champions League serves up another busy midweek, with a few cracking fixtures and some interesting betting markets. Arsenal travel to Bayern Munich on Wednesday, while Liverpool host Villarreal and PSG take on Barcelona on Tuesday.

Bet365 have supplied their latest match odds and outright markets. There's plenty to get stuck into, although the prices below are a snapshot rather than a promise they'll still be available when you read this.

Odds quoted are from Bet365 and were accurate as of Monday lunchtime. Prices may have changed since publication.

Tuesday's Champions League matches

Sabah FK vs Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund are strong favourites for their trip to Azerbaijan, priced at 2/7, with Sabah out at 15/2 and the draw at 21/4.

Our preview looks at whether Dortmund can turn that superiority into goals. The pick is Dortmund to win and over 2.5 goals at 1.60 with SportBet.One.

Liverpool vs Villarreal

Liverpool are priced at 12/25 to beat Villarreal at Anfield, with the draw at 7/2 and an away win at 21/4.

The price makes Liverpool clear favourites, but we're looking for a little more value than backing a short-priced home win. Our preview considers Liverpool on the -1 Asian Handicap at 1.85 with Cloudbet.

VfB Stuttgart vs Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid are favourites at 11/10, with Stuttgart at 23/10 and the draw at 13/5. It's not a price that makes the visitors an overwhelming choice, and Stuttgart will fancy their chances on home soil.

Our selection is over 2.5 goals at 1.50 with Bet365.

PSG vs Barcelona

This is arguably Tuesday's standout fixture. PSG and Barcelona are both priced at 29/20 to win, with the draw at 16/5.

There isn't much between the sides in the betting, and it's easy to see why. Both have the attacking quality to cause serious problems, so this could be one for the neutrals. Last 3 clashes have finished with 3,5 and 5 goals and interestingly away wins in all three games.

Wednesday's Champions League matches

Como vs Manchester United

Manchester United face a tricky trip to Como, with the home side priced at 13/10, United at 19/10 and the draw at 13/5.

Those odds suggest a competitive contest rather than an obvious away win. Como have home advantage, while United will be keen to make their mark in Europe.

It's an intriguing match, with the market giving the Italian side favourites but United have a decent chance of taking something from it.

Bayern Munich vs Arsenal

This is the big one for Arsenal supporters, and certainly the fixture that will attract plenty of attention. Bayern are priced at 21/20, the draw at 11/4, and Arsenal at 23/10.

Arsenal have a tough assignment in Munich, but the price on the visitors is worth a look for anyone who thinks they can come away with a result. Our match preview takes a closer look, with over 2.5 goals at 1.62 the selection with Bet365.

Other Wednesday odds

There are several more fixtures on the card, including a few where the favourites are expected to do the business.

  • Aston Villa vs Viking FK: Villa 2/9, draw 21/4, Viking 11/1

  • Real Betis vs Feyenoord: Betis 8/15, draw 15/4, Feyenoord 17/4

  • Real Madrid vs RB Leipzig: Real Madrid 1/4, draw 11/2, Leipzig 9/1

Villa and Real Madrid are particularly short in the match betting. As ever, being the likely winner and being a good bet are two different things.

Champions League outright betting

The outright market gives us a glimpse of how Bet365 rate the leading contenders to lift the trophy.

To win the Champions League

  • 7/2 - Barcelona

  • 4/1 - PSG

  • 11/2 - Arsenal

  • 6/1 - Bayern Munich

  • 8/1 - Real Madrid

  • 10/1 - Manchester City

  • 20/1 - Liverpool

  • 33/1 - Manchester United

  • 33/1 - Atletico Madrid

  • 40/1 - Inter Milan

  • 50/1 - Roma

Barcelona and PSG head the market, with Arsenal third at 11/2. Bayern are just behind them at 6/1, while Real Madrid and Manchester City are also in the leading group.

Arsenal at 11/2 will appeal to supporters who believe this could be their year, although there is a long way to go and plenty of football between now and the final.

To reach the final

  • 9/4 - Barcelona

  • 12/5 - PSG

  • 11/4 - Arsenal

  • 3/1 - Bayern Munich

  • 7/2 - Real Madrid

  • 5/1 - Manchester City

  • 9/1 - Liverpool

  • 14/1 - Manchester United

  • 14/1 - Atletico Madrid

  • 16/1 - Inter Milan

  • 16/1 - Roma

The final market tells a similar story, with Barcelona, PSG and Arsenal the leading three. Reaching the final is a different proposition from winning it, of course, and these prices reflect that distinction.

Top Champions League goalscorer

  • 7/2 - Erling Haaland

  • 9/2 - Harry Kane

  • 5/1 - Kylian Mbappe

  • 10/1 - Ousmane Dembele

  • 16/1 - Ferran Torres

  • 16/1 - Raphinha

  • 25/1 - Nicolo Tresoldi

  • 25/1 - Bradley Barcola

  • 25/1 - Nicolas Jackson

  • 25/1 - Ermedin Demirovic

Haaland heads the market at 7/2, with Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe close behind. Goalscorer bets can change quickly as the competition progresses, particularly once the knockout rounds arrive and teams start to face stronger opposition.

Nationality of the Champions League winner

  • 6/4 - Spain

  • 15/8 - England

  • 7/2 - France

  • 5/1 - Germany

  • 14/1 - Italy

  • 14/1 - Any other nation

Spain are favourites at 6/4, just ahead of England at 15/8. France and Germany are the next two in the market, with Italy a longer-priced option.
