A solid performance in midweek saw Real Madrid securing yet another win to maintain a 100% winning record. Can this superb run continue.

Ronaldo has adjusted to his Spanish career faster than anybody expected. The current World Player of the Year has seven goals to his name already while the League just started some three weeks ago! What else can I say besides money well spent on him!

There was a little uncertainty in the Madrid fans when Pellegrini was named Madrid Coach but after the recent run, I believe the uncertainty should all fade away. Madrid was not in superb form in midweek but a good all round performance saw Madrid edge out Villarreal 2-0.

Pellegrini have some good team news as Xabi Alonso returns to full fitness following his recent setback and Pepe is available for selection once again after serving a hefty 10 match suspension due to a violent conduct in a match last season.

Pellegrini have Arbeloa, Metzelder and Garay all doubtful for the game while injury-prone Van Nistelrooy is out. Pellegrini should not be too concerned over the this as his has the dept in his squad.

Ikea Casillas will start in goal protected by Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Albiol and Marcelo in defense. In midfield, Xabi Alonso should be recalled into the starting lineup to partner Diarra in the holding midfield role leaving Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Raul and Higuain to form a attacking force.

With Champions League football in Pellegrini’s mind, he should rotate a couple of his players and Kaka is likely to be rested. With Ronaldo taking headlines every time he plays, I don’t expect Ronaldo to be on the bench.

Newly promoted Tenerife will face a daunting trip to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Tenerife has started the season well at home, winning both their home games against strong opposition, Athletico Bilbao and Osasuna.

However, it is a totally different case on the road as Tenerife has lost both away game against Real Zaragoza and Mallorca. In fact, Tenerife was hammered by Mallorca with a 4-0 score line.

Despite the poor away record by Tenerife, Jose Luis Oltra is positive with his side and believe that they have what it takes to keep them up this season.

Oltra will not be expecting a win here but their main aim will be to hold off Real Madrid and secure a point which I believe its almost impossible unless miracle happens.

Tenerife has not scored in either of their away games. Goals will be a major problem for Oltra’s side and with Madrid improving on their defending for the past few games, Oltra will have to commit more men forward if they wish to score.

Gorka Irizoz will have to put in a big game if he wish to stop Ronaldo and co from scoring.

THe Betting Verdict :

Ronaldo has taken La Liga by storm and his splendid performance should continue. With Madrid scoring goals for fun and Tenerife finding difficult in scoring, I can see Madrid winning this game by a couple of goals.

With the odds for Madrid to win the game at a very low price, I suggest a couple of other bets is worth considering. Consider trying Madrid to score within the first 15 minutes of the game.
