Packers To Bounce Back Versus Buccaneers
Green Bay Packers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Football: United States, NFL

The Green Bay Packers have had a tough time with the Minnesota Vikings this year. People backing them in the sportsbook have also had a tough time in those contests.
Nonetheless, the Packers take their show on the road this week to face a much weaker opponent in Tampa Bay. The Packers should have a rather easy time of things when you consider they are going from playing one of the best teams in the conference to the absolute worst.
The Buccaneers are off a bye week, which may or may not mean a whole lot. On one hand, any time a young team can get an extra week to prepare, it should help. On the other hand, they are 0-7 on the year and have looked completely lost in many of their games.
Now they have to face an angry Packers team who has a very good offense. On top of that, they will turn over their team to a rookie quarterback for the first time as first-round pick Josh Freeman gets the start.
We’ll be curious to see what Freeman brings to the table but unless he’s on the level of a Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco or Mark Sanchez, the Bucs will have a very tough time winning this game.
When you are a 10-point home underdog, that’s never a good sign. Internet betting cappers know that when you are getting 10 points at home, you aren’t a very good football team.
At 0-7, there aren’t many compliments one can give to the Buccaneers as their team has been a wreck since the offseason.
Their offense is fairly weak and they don’t have many weapons for Freeman to work with, so there are clearly more issues than an ineffective quarterback.
The Bucs offense ranks 29th in the NFL in total yards and their total defense rank is the same. They just don’t have much on either side of the ball right now.
For the Packers, their defense is decent and their offense is among the best in the NFL. Their offensive line continues to give up sacks at a record-setting pace.
But as long as Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers doesn’t turn it over when he gets sacked, the Packers will be fine. They have too many weapons on offense for the Bucs to keep up.
THe Betting Verdict
Look for the Bucs to be motivated early but fade as the game progresses and the margin of victory increases.
