Eagles To Take Advantage Of Battered Redskins

The Washington Redskins have been one of the worst teams in the NFL this season and on top of their regular inadequacies, they now have to deal with a long list of injuries.
NFL betting fans saw the Redskins put up a valiant effort last week against the Dallas Cowboys but now they have to play their second consecutive road game with a shorter lineup.
The Redskins will be without three of their starting five offensive linemen as Chris Samuels, Randy Thomas and Chad Rinehart are out. As if that’s not enough, the Redskins will also be without starting tight end Chris Cooley and both first and second string running backs Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts.
The injuries to the running backs figure to be the significant pains. Online betting cappers know it’s tough to go on the road and win when you can’t run the ball.
Meanwhile, the Redskins are head to Philadelphia to face an Eagles squad that is starting to heat up. Donovan McNabb and the young Eagles offense is developing a lot of chemistry and they shouldn’t have too many problems with a Redskins secondary that has a propensity to give up big plays.
The Eagles bounced back from a bad road loss in San Diego with a big win in Chicago last week. This Sunday’s contest with Washington shouldn’t be as difficult.
The Redskins have a tough time topping 17 points and their regular season average is just 14.9 points per game on offense. There is a good chance that if the Eagles score 17 points, they will win the game.
For the Redskins, this is just a very bad matchup. Their offensive line is battered and now they have to go against a defense that blitzes quite a bit. That means quarterback Jason Campbell won’t have the adequate time to throw. Beyond that, the Redskins don’t have quality wide receivers, which means the Eagles secondary should have an easier time of things.
The Eagles weakness on defense is their run defense but the Redskins won’t be able to exploit that. Without Portis in the lineup, an offense that struggles to get to 17 points won’t have any easier of a time.
THe Betting Verdict
Look for the Eagles to get ahead by a score or two and start forcing mistakes.
