Two teams in good form go head to head as they battle for a place in Europe next year. These two sides have almost identical record in their last five games winning three and drawing two of their last five matches in Serie A.

A.S Roma had a game in midweek in the Europa League where they beat CSKA Sofia in the final game of the Europa League group stages. Francesco Totti was left back home to rest but a number of first team players travelled with the side to ensure they finish top of the group. Parma will be targetting to extend their three-point lead over Roma in the standings and could even catch Juventus if they win and the Old Lady of Turin draw or lose at home to bottom of the table Catania.

Parma have been the surprise this season after earning promotion and having lost just four games this season. Everyone expects the dream to end but Francesco Guidolin’s side keeps coming up with surprises and has a good blend of youth and experience in the side.

Parma did go down initially to Bologna last Sunday but staged a magnificent comeback to win the match 2-1.
