Analysis:

Both of these two sides are in an unfamiliar position and thata is they are battling against relegation here coming to this fixture. Udinese are coming through a tough time as their defeat againsr Bari which is their fourth in their last five games meant they are now only three points away from relegation. Newly appointed Gianni De Biasi faces a tough time to change things and get a result.

President Giampaolo Pozzo insisted that Udinese has a chance if they bring in players in the January transfer market.

As for Lazio, they are also in dire straits but the midweek win against Livorno eased the pressure a bit on them. Sergio Floccari scored two goals as they came back from one goal down to win the match and will be hoping to get another win here.
