Analysis:

Real Madrid will aim to close the gap to Barcelona to five points when they host Malaga at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium tonight. The visitors Malaga are 16th in the table and are the only side who have yet to win away from home this season.

Real Madrid are the best side at home winning all 9 games at home to collect the maximum 27 points available. Their 3 defeats have all come on their travels.
