Wolverhampton are battling it out at the wrong end of the table, currently just clear of the drop zone thanks to a slightly superior goal difference.

Recent form for the home side is not good - as Wolves have lost seven of their last 10 league games, including the last three without scoring.

It's scoring goals that has been a problem for Wolves who have only scored 17 goals in 21 league outings, the lowest total in the top flight.

If Wolves can score first then the team seems to get a real boost, as Wolves have won five of the six league games in which they opened the scoring, drawing the other.

Liverpool's troubles have been well documented this season, with injuries to Torres and Gerrard taking their toll on the team pattern and accordingly Liverpool have slipped out of the "top four".

Wolves have won three games at home this season, against Burnley, Bolton and Fulham - all teams ranked under the "midpoint" of 1000 by my system.

Conversely, the recent heavy defeats here against both Manchester City (0-3) and Arsenal (1-4) probably provide a better guide to performances against the better sides - a category that I think Liverpool still belong.

I expect Liverpool to grab an away win.
