Analysis:Delio Rossi will welcome Lazio the club which he left to join Palermo. Rossi remains popular with the Lazio fans after conquering the Coppa Italia last season no doubt. Rossi left the club after disagreements with President Claudio Lotito.

But they will be keen to avoid another defeat after suffering a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Roma. They will not want another side from Rome to humiliate them again.
Lazio's Reja came under fire for dropping Mauro Zarate for their Parma match. He came off the bench and scored but that will not guarantee him a place here. Cristian Ledesma played his first official game for Lazio last week. Locked away due to a contract dispute and with Lazio in the relegation zone, it showed just how much they missed him when he pulled out a fine performance against Parma.
Lazio still has a huge injury list in the form of Albano Bizzarri, Simone Del Nero, Ousmane Dabo, Francelino Matuzalem, Mourad Meghni, Andre Dias, Julio Cruz and Pasquale Foggia. Some of them ciuld take the bench prior kickoff if they can recover in time.
For Lazio's coach this match will also be special for him as he will return back to the club he represented as a player from 1968-69 to 1972-73, notching up 124 appearances and one goal between Serie A and B. However, he has never beaten Palermo as a Coach, managing only one point from five previous meetings.
