Los Blancos continue chasing Barcelona at the summit of Primera Liga. Visit of Sevilla is a subject for concern, not only because the Andalucian side is currently third in the table, but also due to the recent h2h history where guests have prevailed on regular basis.

Manuel Pellegrini should also be aware of the post-international games syndrome, which has occasionally effected Real’s performances in the past. In fact it is a problem that any big-club has to go through once in a while.

Sevilla could be struggling for motivation if they were up against some other club than Real Madrid. Manolo Jimenez side has been pushed to the third place by Valencia recently.Despite that, all eyes are turned to the Champions’ League where the first leg 1-1 draw in Moscow vs. CSKA puts Sevilla in the driving seat before the return fixture in Spain.

Andalucian club is without defensive midfielder Romaric who was dismissed during last week's home draw vs. Athletic Bilbao. Luis Fabiano has enjoyed an up-and-down season so far and at the moment just can't recapture the moment he had back in early Autumn.

Two players should be particularly fired up for this one: Alvaro Negredo, Real Madrid's youth system product, and Jesus Navas, who has been recently linked with a move to Los Galacticos.
