Match Analysis :

Basically it is now or never for Real Madrid. Another upset here would not only leave the Madrid fans in chaos but also the Madrid players.

All Real Madrid have to play now is the League. After being knocked out in the Kings Cup earlier this season, Real Madrid was also knocked out in the Champions League in midweek. With this being their only chance of silverware, I expect Madrid to bounce back with a bang!

Valladolid will go into today’s game without a win since a start of the year. This is unlikely to chance here as Madrid will be all fired up in today’s class.

Pellegrini will be without Kaka, Benzema and Drenthe. Probably with Kaka injured at the moment, this would do some good to Pellegrini as Kaka is being criticised in the media as being a "flop and over-rated".

As for Valladolid, Sisi and Jacabo Sanz will once again miss today’s class as both of them are still out injured. Onesimo will be banking on Costa to deliver him the killer blow as the Brazilian is their leading goal scorer with seven goals.

Pellegrini will like start with his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation once again. Xabi Alonso who missed the midweek game against Lyon is likely to be recalled into the starting line up to partner Diarra in middle of the park. Ronaldo, Granero and Van Der Vaart are likely to play behind the lone striker, either Raul or Higuain. In defense, Iker Casillas will be protected by Ramos, Garay, Albiol and Marcelo.

Asian Handicap Analysis :

Under the asian handicap line this season, Valladolid hold the worse home record. Valladolid only managed to win 2 out of the possible 13 games played at home this season under the handicap line. Both the win came against Gijon and Deportivo La Coruna.

Apart from both that win, it has been defeat after defeat under the asian handicap line for the home side.

On the other hand, Real Madrid have managed to secure 7 payouts out of a possible 12 games on the road this season under the asian handicap line. The five failures for punters came against Sevilla, Gijon, Barcelona, Osasuna and Bilbao.

Real Madrid is extremely disappointed after falling out in the Champions League for the 6th consecutive time in the last 16 stage. Real Madrid MUST bounce back with a win. Anything apart from a win would almost certainly guarantee Pellegrini losing his job.

The fans were devastated in midweek, as the 2nd generation of the Galactico only option in winning silverware is in the League. After spending more than 250 million Euros, everybody expects better from this Madrid side.

No doubt we saw Madrid players losing their cool in midweek against Lyon towards the end but I firmly believe they managed to pick themselves up from the past few days and are eager to prove to the world what they are made off.

With Real Madrid tied level on points with Barcelona who are playing Valencia this weekend, Madrid would definitely be hoping to pick up another win here today and hopefully Valencia could do them a favour.
