Real Madrid needs to keep earning points in the same rhythm if they want to enter the upcoming El Clasico on level terms with Barcelona. The Catalan club shows no signs of stopping and even the participation in the Champions’ League doesn’t seem to bother Guardiola’s men.

Galacticos swallowed the bitter pill of elimination from the Europea’s most prestigious Cup competition and have firmly re-adjusted their sights on the La Liga title. In the midweek match against Getafe Real brushed aside the opponents with a 0-4 lead by the 37th minute of the first half. The match on to finish 2-4, but only due to Los Blancos’ relaxation after the half time interval.

Manuel Pellegrini can’t count on the services of Drenthe, Garay, Lass, Benzema and Kaka. Fernando Gago or Guti H. should cover for the absence of Lass, while Garay’s absence means Marcelo shall take the left wingback position with Sergio Ramos moving into the center of defense.

Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid is only 5 points away from the European cup zone and still continue their campaign in the Europa League. Quique Flores is proving my initial skepticism towards his perspectives in Madrid wrong.

Former Valencia and Benfica head coach has balanced the squad and improved the quality of defense, which has been a traditional head ache for any manager at Atletico.

The most significant achievement by Flores, in my opinion, is the resurrection of Reyes. His career seemed to be in decline at one moment, but now former Gunner is an integral part of Atletico’s first eleven.

Betting advice

Through the course of last years Atletico has been a consistent "client" of their city-neighbors. At this point of the season I don't see any reasons for that trend to change.
