Arizona had lost 6 straight but since then have gone on a winning streak of, yep, 6 games. They start a 3 game series at home against the Rockies of Colorado. I feel there is momentum here to ride for us.

The Colorado Rockies will send Alex White to the hill tonight. The right-handed pitcher, who turns 23 today, has a 0-0 mark with a 7.50ERA. White moved here from Cleveland at the end of July and has made just the 1 start so far. He got his for 5 runs on 6 innings by the Houston Astros last week and was lucky to get a no-decision.

Before he moved here, White had a 3.60ERA in 3 starts, earning him a 1-0 mark. In between that, he was on the disabled list with a finger injury. Overall, if we're looking at current form, his last 4 games have seen him register a 4.71ERA. This man will be vulnerable tonight.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will counter with Daniel Hudson, who is 13-9 with a 3.75ERA. In his last start, Hudson gave up just 2 runs, lasting almost 9 innings. Hudson owns a 7-4 mark when pitching at home but has lost 2 of his last 3 at home and that is factoring into the price I feel.

Hudson has faced the Rockies 3 times over his career, and has a 0-2 record in those games. I feel his home form will pick up again here as his 3.55ERA in 13 home games shows enough consistency. He tends to last longer at home, going about 7 innings on average, and has walked just 14 batters, while striking out 69, giving him a great KW ratio.
