Match Preview :

Inter Milan under the guidance of Claudio Ranieri are seeking to record their fifth consecutive win in a row for the first time since the end of the 2009-10 season, something which not even Leonardo managed last season when he was in charge of the side.

Inter ended 2011 on a high after beating Lecce 4-1. However it must be stated that the win over Lecce was only the second time the team had scored more than twice under their current Coach in the League. Much has been said about the performances of Giampaolo Pazzini and Diego Milito that they have now joined the race to bring in Carlos Tevez to the side.

Ranieri has lost faith with Mauro Zarate while there are fitness doubts over Diego Forlan coming in this match. That means Ranieri will once again rely on Pazzini and Milito and if they failed to deliver then bring on Wesley Sneijder as a substitute as he intends to save him for the Milan derby next week.

Most of Ranieri's thoughts have focused on keeping players fit for the derby clash. Nevertheless a win over Parma could give them the psychological edge and that could be worth more then a full strength side to face Milan next weekend.

Parma meanwhile arrives intending to take this match seriously. Former Inter player Jonathan Biabiany has rallied his team mates for total concentration in this match.
