Monday Night Football comes from Serie A as Napoli and Bologna will play this key match with both teams having different levels of confidence.

Napoli goes into this clash eager to make it three wins in a row and continue their good start to the year. Napoli managed a first win in Palermo since 1969 and now they will be aiming for only their fifth win at home this season when they welcome Bologna to the Stadio San Paolo.

As it is now Napoli are in 7th spot going into this match against Bologna after the weekend's results and six points behind Lazio in fourth place.

In midweek, Napoli struggled to overcome a weakened Cesena at home in the Coppa Italia. Walter Mazzarri was quick to point out that the team lacked motivation and playing too many games in a short space of time which is something they need to overcome. Meanwhile for Bologna, their main aim is to survive the threat of relegation and they are targetting 40 points as enough to survive another season in Serie A. Their next match is against Parma in the Emilia-Romagna derby and two points from these two games will see the side reach the halfway mark of their 40-point target with half the season gone.

Pioli will want to continue his good work since his arrival in October, after all he has been credited with uniting the group. The club will not be selling anyone from the first-team as it has been decided they are instrumental to their survival bid.

Pioli will be eager to create an upset result here considering that Bologna have scored in every away game under Stefano Pioli and have also scored on their last four visits in all competitions to the Stadio San Paolo to face Napoli.
