Harry Redknapp has confirmed that he wants the opportunity to get Queens Park Rangers back into the Premier League next season and so I am sure the hard work has begun on that front already. Relegation was confirmed last month and there are a number of players that won't be here next season as they play out the string.
Thanks to Reading winning at Craven Cottage last weekend, it does look like Queens Park Rangers will finish bottom of the table, a position they occupied for much of the current campaign. They have really struggled at home all season and are just 2-8-8 there while scoring 12 goals and conceding 26.

It was at Loftus Road where Rangers couldn't buy a win as they have won 1 of their last 10 League games here, while they have lost their last 2 home games against Stoke City and Arsenal.
Chris Samba, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Andrew Johnson are all missing for the home side.
Newcastle United
It is very clear that Alan Pardew is feeling the pressure as manager of Newcastle United and he has admitted that he doesn't know what the future holds for him despite signing a long contract extension last season. His position is likely to be untenable if Newcastle are relegated, although Wigan Athletic's defeat last Tuesday has eased the pressure on them.
The Magpies are 17th in the Premier League table and they are currently 3 points clear of Wigan in the final relegation place and will surely feel a point from this game will put them in a decent spot. However, Newcastle will want to find a way to grab the three points that will virtually secure their Premier League place, although that means reversing a poor away record from the season so far. They have a 1-7-10 away record, scoring 19 goals and conceding 36 in those games.
Newcastle have only won 1 of their last 7 Premier League games and they have failed to win any of their last 6 away from home in the League. However, Newcastle snapped a 4 game losing run in their away games with back to back draws at West Brom and West Ham United.
Moussa Sissoko and Sylvain Marveaux are both doubtful for this game as is Davide Santon.
Head to Head
Newcastle United scored a late goal to beat Queens Park Rangers 1-0 at St James' Park earlier this season.
The sides played out a goalless draw here last season and Newcastle had previously won on two straight visits before that.
Prediction
This is going to be a tense game for Newcastle United as they do need the three points to keep themselves out of trouble, while Queens Park Rangers are not so productive in front of goal.
The under 2.5 goals option looks a decent shout at odds against.
