ADELAIDE
Well Adelaide are the talk of the town at the moment after capturing the services of Brazilian great Romario.
Though it must be said that much of the talk has now shifted to just how woeful Romario was (he missed a one on one & missed a sitter from half a meter out !) after they sunk to a 0-2 defeat at the hands of the Central Coast which was a scoreline that flatters Adelaide.
They were very disjointed, the performance mirroring the display they dished up the week before v Sydney - going down 2-1.
Adelaide are not that team that won the premiership last season
and have been very average and after 14 rounds Adelaide are in 3rd spot with 22 points - 7 wins 1 draw & 6 defeats.
Adelaide will be without Jason Spagnuolo wich should enable the talened Nathan Burns to get a start.

MELBOURNE
Melbourne have been very dominant this season and look to have the premiership in the bag, they're currently on 34 points (11 points clear of 2nd place Sydney).
Melbourne have played 6 games away from home this season and WON every game scoring 15 goals and only conceding 2.
Last week Melbourne lost at home going down 0-1 to Newcastle ,the absence of captain Kevin Muscat really hurt Melbourne, they lacked their usual steel in the centre of the park and lacked imagination.
The central midfield pairing of Grant Brebner & Muscat has been one of the key elements to Melbourne's winning formula & if Muscat is to miss the game they may struggle to retain possesion.
Muscat will face a late fitness test .

05/01/05 Adelaide 1-0 Melbourne
09/11/05 Adelaide 1-0 Melbourne
THE VERDICT
If Adelaide play anything like they have in the past two weeks Melbourne will romp it in.
I expect Romario to be out to silence the critics & do some running & at least score a goal, but I still think Melbourne will be too good for a disjointed Adelaide.
The Pick :
Adelaide 1-2 Melbourne
