Here we have a classic NFC East showdown between the 3rd (Giants) and 4th (Skins) placed teams in the conference.
NEW YORK Giants
Last week the giants were humiliated at home. A disgusting lack of effort from every side of the team.
Tom Coughlin looks lost and is well on his way to being fired. The giants are 7-8 and can still make the playoffs with a win in DC and an Eagles win in Philly vs Atlanta on Sunday.
So unbelievabley that means that Giants fans will be rooting for an Eagles win ... what is this world coming to ?
WASHINGTON Redskins
The Skins are coming off a tough loss to the Rams in St Louis where they played a high scoring game into overtime - the Redskins are 5-10 with no chance of making the playoffs.
THE GAME
Anybody can look at the way these two teams have been playing recently and point to a Redskins win on Saturday night even though the skins have no chance of making the playoffs Fedex Field will be, as always, very loud and packed with arguably the craziest fans in the NFL.
However, I know the Giants are a good team and i think that this collapse started in the 2nd half of the game vs the Bears. That loss was a major blow to the psyche of the Giants besides all the injuries sustained by key players.
Tom Coughlin may have lost his team but I think veterans like Strahan and Barber will act as head coach and pull the Giants together for one more win.
Most people think its over for the g-men but they forget the fact that the Giants are better than the Redskins and although Joe Gibbs and the Redskins would like nothing more than to play the role of spoiler to an NFC rival Dan Snyder could be eyeing a higher draft position.
So I am going for a Giants win in front of all the loud and obnoxious fans at Fedex Field.
