2007-11-24 - Bolton Wanderers vs Manchester Utd
A Sports Betting Pick by Gooner
Bolton a tough test for United
Bolton scored a couple of famous victories at Old Trafford in the Sam Allardyce era but they've never really managed to deliver much against United at the Reebok.
United are unbeaten in their last six visits here - winning four of those games, including an emphatic 4-0 victory last season.
And United have been on fire both domestically and in Europe since the return of Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, finding their scoring boots after a slow start to the season.
But it's that absence of Rooney here that worries me a little, as it will definately affect the United playing style and with an international break to contend with as well it might be harder for manager Alex Ferguson to get things settled.
Bolton's home form has got better, certainly they're playing a style of football that theyr'e more comfortable after the sacking of former boss Sammy Lee and the recent 2-2 draw away to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Cup was a very good result.
Bolton have drawn four of their last six league games, losing the other two games to Arsenal and Chelsea - a 2-0 defeat at leaders Arsenal.
