Analysis:

With Aston Villa suffering a defeat at home to Wigan yesterday, Everton will be less motivated when they enter this game as they can afford to draw their last match and still remain in 5th spot which comes with a ticket to the UEFA Cup.

Arsenal enters this match knowing that they could still finish in second spot now if Chelsea slip up and also that Everton have not claimed an away win against Arsenal since 1996 and will ensure that it stays that way. They were on a roll against Derby last Monday as they won 6-2 at Pride Park and will be looking to finish the season on a high.

Emmanuel Adebayor who scored a second half hat-trick will be eager to finish the season on a high if reports that he will be going to Inter Milan next season are to be believed. He is now four goals below Manchester United in the chase for the Golden Boot and although unlikely to win it, will launch a late bid to increase his goals tally against Everton.

Adebayor will definitely start this match after Robin van Persie was taken out at half time after sustaining a thigh injury at Derby. Mathieu Flamini, will return to the bench after recovering from an ankle problem.

As for Everton they will miss the services of Mikel Arteta who is out for the last two games of the season. Despite the fact that he recently had treatment on a groin and stomach injury and came on as a second half substitute last week but he complained of problems in training this week and as a result will be rested and will no longer feature this season.

David Moyes has doubts on striker Andrew Johnson (calf) and midfielder Steven Pienaar (knee) so they will undergo a late fitness test before a decision is made if they can feature here.
