German Bundesliga News :: Klose & Khan unlikely for Bayern

Miroslav Klose has become the second Bayern player to break his nose within the space of just six days.

Mark van Bommel had suffered the same injury in the DFB Cup final against Borussia Dortmund, and the German international suffered the same fate in the final minutes of Bayern's UEFA Cup semi-final against Zenit St. Petersburg.

Klose even suffered a comminuted fracture and will miss Bayern's Bundesliga clash with defending champions VfB Stuttgart on Sunday.

It is doubtful whether Klose will be fit for the second leg in Russia next Thursday.

Oliver Kahn picked up an injury, too. The captain had to be substituted midway through the second half with a lumbar vertebra problem.
