German Bundesliga News :: Jurgen Klinsmann calls for improvement at Bayern Munich

After making their worst start to a Bundesliga season in 31 years Bayern Munich need a dramatic improvment according to coach Jurgen Klinsmann.

The 44-year-old Klinsmann, who took over in the summer, has come under fire for Bayern's indifferent form and calls for his sacking were heard at the Allianz Arena a fortnight ago when Bayern squandered a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 with lowly Bochum.

On Saturday the champions face Karlsruhe, another side at the wrong end of the table, and Klinsmann feels a win could be the start of a recovery.

"I want nothing more than for things to start moving forwards now," he said. "By the winter break at the latest, I want us to be up there where we belong."

Bayern have just nine points from their seven games so far but Klinsmann said he would prefer to be in a rough patch now than later in the season.
