English Premier News :: Roy Keane big mover in Portsmouth Manager betting

Roy Keane has been the subject of a huge punt over at Eurobet to take over the reins at Portsmouth and is now trading at just 6/1, having been 66/1 earlier in the day.

"We had Keane in our list at 66/1 this morning and there was very little interest in him, then all of a sudden around lunchtime we saw a number of bets coming in for the ex-Sunderland boss," said Eurobet spokesman Gary Burton.

"Significantly quite a few of those bets were from around the Portsmouth area so we cut the price to 16/1 and then again to 6/1," added Burton.

Meanwhile it's been announced that Brian Kidd has joined Portsmouth to assist Hart following the sacking of Tony Adams. The former Manchester United assistant boss will work alongside Hart while Pompey search for a new boss.
