Italian Serie A News :: Lazio coach Delio Rossi respects Serie A top scorer Marco Di Vaio

Delio Rossi warns Lazio that they risk a beating if they play “arrogantly,” especially against Capocannoniere Marco Di Vaio.

“Di Vaio is devastating in space and his qualities are certainly not up for debate,” said the Coach ahead of Saturday afternoon’s Bologna meeting.

The tie takes place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, where Lazio are yet to win in 2009 after two draws and as many defeats.

“We know that at the Olimpico nobody comes here to play an open game, so it will be an added difficulty. The crucial thing will be not to step on to the field arrogantly, or we will be punished for it.” Rossi said

Rossi has further worries with the fact Bologna are coming here with a strong away record and former Lazio star Sinisa Mihajlovic as Bolgona manager on the side line.

“I have not been at all surprised by Mihajlovic’s performance on the bench. He is an intelligent guy, head-strong and fiery."
