Inter Milan drew 2-2 at Chievo and will have to wait at least another week before sealing a fourth consecutive Scudetto.

Hernan Crespo put the champions-elect ahead in the third minute but Michele Marcolini equalised for Chievo the 27th minute.

A wonder strike from Mario Balotelli put the Nerazzurri back in front midway through the second half but Siqueira Luciano earned Chievo a point with 17 minutes to go to ease their own relegation fears.

AC Milan were held to a 1-1 draw by Juventus as they failed to take advantage of city rivals Inter's slip-up.

Clarence Seedorf put the Rossoneri ahead in the 57th minute, but an equaliser three minutes later from Vincenzo Iaquinta meant Milan recovered only a point on Inter, who can now clinch their fourth Scudetto next Sunday regardless of Milan's result at Udinese 24 hours earlier.

And Milan ended the game with 10 men as Giuseppe Favalli was shown a second yellow card five minutes from time, while David Beckham will also miss the trip to Udine after picking up his fifth yellow card.

Fiorentina beat Catania 2-0 to tighten their grip on fourth place in Serie A.

Stevan Jovetic opened the scoring in the 11th minute before substitute Luciano Zauri doubled the visitors' lead deep in stoppage time.

Genoa snatched a last-gasp 1-1 draw against 10-man Atalanta as their Champions League aspirations took a blow at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia.

The Grifoni needed a late goal from Domenico Criscito to get them out of trouble after trailing to Jaime Valdes' strike for most of the match.

Roma had a thrilling 2-2 draw at Cagliari as they came from behind to earn a point in to hold on to sixth place.

Alessandro Matri opened the scoring for the hosts in the 34th minute before Robert Acquafresca doubled his team's lead before the hour mark.

Roma captain Francesco Totti reduced the arrears five minutes later and Simone Perrotta equalised with 22 minutes left.
