English Premier News :: Dropped points at home give Newcastle and Middlesbrough relegation headaches

Newcastle are a general 1/2 chance to get relegated following their 0-1 defeat to Fulham on Saturday while Middlesbrough are out to 1/50 after a 1-1 home draw with Aston Villa.



Bet365, Paddy Power and BetFred are all offering 1/2 (1.50) on relegation as Newcastle slumped back into the bottom three after Fulham took all three points at St James' Park.

Newcastle are now one point behind Hull who earnt a vital point with a 1-1 draw at Bolton. Hull City are at 13/8 (2.63) at both Bet365 and BetFred for a swift return to the Championship.

Things are also looking bleak for Middlesbrough after they drew 1-1 with Aston Villa. Boro are now three points behind Hull with an goal difference that is four goals worse and are 1/50 (1.02) for the drop with VC Bet and Paddy Power.

West Brom are four points adrift of Hull with two games remaining - and simply the Baggies need two wins to avoid relegation. WBA face Liverpool on Sunday and are into 1/20 (1.05) to get relegated with BetFred.

Sunderland aren't quite safe just yet - they are one point ahead of Hull and two ahead of Newcastle and so may need one more positive result from the final two games. Sunderland are 10/1 (11.00) to go down with Bet365.
