Tennis News :: Wimbledon seeds for Mens and Womens singles released

Britain's Andy Murray has been confirmed as the number three seed for Wimbledon, which starts on Monday June 22nd.

The 22-year-old Murray is seeded according with his world ranking of three, behind defending champion Rafael Nadal and five-time champion Roger Federer.

The women's seeds have also followed suit with world number one Dinara Safina, who has never been past the third round at Wimbledon, topping the women's seedings.

Five-time and defending champion Venus Williams is the number three seed, with her sister Serena at number two.
