CHAMPIONS LEAGUE RESULTS - GROUP E

Olympique Lyon took control of Group E with a second straight win, giving a 4-0 thumping to Hungarian champions Debrecen.

Kim Kallstrom volleyed the visitors ahead after three minutes before Miralem Pjanic curled in a delightful free-kick to make it 2-0. Sidney Govou's header made it 3-0 before Bafetimbi Gomis wrapped up the scoring in the second half with a brilliant lob.

Liverpool slumped to a 2-0 defeat at Fiorentina.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE RESULTS - GROUP F

Barcelona went top of the group with a 2-0 victory over Dynamo Kiev, Messi opened the scoring after 25 minutes after a weaving run from the right, before Pedro made the game safe after a typically incisive Barca move.

Inter Milan were held to a 1-1 draw by Russian side Rubin Kazan.

Alejandro Dominguez stunned Italian champions Inter after 11 minutes with a fabulous run and rising shot. Dejan Stankovic headed in the equaliser from Maicon's cross 16 minutes later, but after Inter striker Mario Balotelli was sent off for two bookings, Rubin had a host of chances to win the game.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE RESULTS - GROUP G

Unirea Urziceni scored their first Champions League goal and earned their first point as they held Stuttgart to a 1-1 draw.

Dacian Varga curled a shot past Jens Lehmann to equalise after Serdar Tasci had fired the German side ahead in the fifth minute.

Glasgow Rangers sit bottom of the group after slumping to a 4-1 home defeat by Sevilla.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE RESULTS - GROUP H

Arsenal dominated the game but had to wait until later on for the goals that gave the Gunners their 2-0 victory over Olympiakos giving them a three-point lead at the top.

AZ Alkmaar were denied a first ever win in the group stage of the Champions League when Standard Liege scored a stoppage-time equaliser in a 1-1 draw.

Morocco striker Mounir El Hamdaoui put the Dutch champions ahead three minutes into the second half when he swept home Brett Holman's teasing cross. But substitute Moussa Traore lashed in a loose ball with seconds remaining to earn the Belgians a point.
