Match Analysis :
Manchester City will aim to continue their good run and make it a hat trick of wins when they visit Everton today. Roberto Mancini's men travel to Goodison Park in fourth spot in the Premier League table, seven points ahead of fifth-placed Liverpool with a game in hand.
The Sky Blues will also be confident by a good run of form which has seen them secure three wins from their last four league encounters, including a 2-1 victory over basement side West Ham last time out.
City are likely to have one eye on their clash with fourth-place Tottenham on Tuesday which could see them seal the coveted fourth UEFA Champions League spot, depending on this weekend's results.
Meanwhile for Everton, their hopes for playing in Europe is all over as they are out of a place for the Europa League even. David Moyes' men are currently seventh in the table and seven points away from Liverpool and Tottenham, sitting fifth and sixth respectively.
However, the home side will be keen to keep hold of their spot in the standings after keeping away from relegation and will hope to maintain their good horm form against Manchester City.
Manchester City will not want a repeat when these two sides met earlier in the season when goals from Tim Cahill and youngster Leighton Baines saw them beaten at home - Everton winning 2-0.
And City have not won at Goodison since April 2009 - ending a winless streak there that stretched back to October 1992 it has to be said.
Everton Team News :
As for the team news ahead of the clash, defender John Heitinga is back in the side after two games out with a hamstring injury for Everton.
Midfielders Tim Cahill (foot) and Mikel Arteta (hamstring) are also closer to full match fitness after playing for just over an hour against Wigan last weekend.
Marouane Fellaini and Louis Saha (both ankle) are the only major absentees as their season has come to an end due to their injuries.
Manchester City Team News :
And as for the visitors, Micah Richards could return to the City squad for the trip to Merseyside after spending six weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, striker Carlos Tevez is not expected to be involved as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury, with the Argentinian hoping to be fit for City's FA Cup final against Stoke later this month.
Pablo Zabaleta and Nigel de Jong have recovered from minor knocks and are available for selection.
