However, now they have an even more challenging opponent in the face of Ath Bilbao. We can agree that the team from Vigo is presenting better when playing at home, but away from home, they just try not to lose the game. This play in defence is spectacular, and sometimes it gives results.
Unlike their opponents, Celta Vigo is positioned in the last spots of La Liga, and this can be considered a great underachievement. Unfortunately, the next match isn’t easier, especially when the team will not have the chance to rely on Aidoo, Ristic, and Luca de la Torre, who are injured for this match.
The Betting Verdict
I was initially about to go for a home win here, but then I decided to change my main pick a little bit. Athletic Bilbao is the stronger team, and they are supposed to win, but Celta Vigo is defending well, and they might avoid losing the match somehow. Because of the type of game I expect, I do not believe that we will see many goals to be scored. Under 2.5 goals seems risky to me (in case Ath Bilbao started scoring goal after goal), so I decided to go for both teams not to score in the match. The odds are normal and seem good enough to be chased.
