Even more impressive about Schalke 04 is that they boast the best defense in 2.Bundesliga, allowing just five goals in their eight previous games.
Schalke 04 has also won all their last three on the road, but this is the first time they face a top-five team.

Hannover 96 won both duels against Schalke 04 last season, and I think that series will continue here. Hannover 96 has a slightly bigger pressure to win after recording just one win in the last four league games, and they are a pretty good home team.
Schalke 04’s results so far are above all expectations, but we will see if they can hold on for longer. They do have a decent side, but I still don’t see them as genuine promotion contenders yet.
It should be close, but I would go with Hannover 96 to win this game.
