The Berliners have lost three of their last six matches and sit in mid-table. Their defense also ranks among the worst in the Bundesliga, conceding 14 times in seven matches.
Their away games so far were not the easiest, with them losing against Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen but winning against Eintracht Frankfurt.

This game and next week’s game against Mainz are ideal for Werder Bremen to start catching up with the upper table sides, and I expect them to play more disciplined and chase victories.
Union Berlin won last week and are more comfortable, so they might take a more cautious approach here, rotating some players in anticipation of their cup game against Arminia Bielefeld next midweek.
It should be a close match, but I believe Werder Bremen will manage to win it at good odds.
