Southampton’s promising four-match winning streak in the Championship was brought to an abrupt halt last weekend when the south coast club slipped to a 3-2 loss away from home at Millwall, resulting in Southampton sitting in 14th place in the table.

Chris Davies’ side have suffered just two losses in their last eight matches in the Championship whilst collecting five wins in the process, so the west midlands visitors will be in reasonably confident mood when they make their way down to the south coast this weekend.
However, The Blues have also experienced some difficulties in producing consistent results away from home as their overall away record of 2-2-5 6/12 indicates, and this is something that Davies and his side will be keen to address here. The defensive partnership of Klarer and Neumann has been pivotal though in recent weeks.
