2026-01-10 - Luton Town vs Stevenage
A Sports Betting Pick by ArmchairPunter
Football : England: League One
Venue: Kenilworth Road
Saturday 10th January 2026, 1230hrs (GMT)
After recording recent back-to-back wins in League One, Luton Town’s play-off ambitions took a slight dent following a 1-0 loss away from home at Exeter City but The Hatters will return to Kenilworth Road for Saturday lunchtime’s clash with Stevenage no doubt looking to return to winning ways.
Luton Town had previously registered victories against the likes of Wycombe Wanderers 4-0 and Leyton Orient 3-0 respectively, both on home soil at Kenilworth Road but the bigger picture shows Jack Wilshere’s side have managed to capture just these two wins in their last seven games in all competitions.
The Hatters have also been dealt disappointing defeats by League Two side Fleetwood Town (FA Cup) along with losses in the league to Reading and aforementioned Exeter City, so the hosts are not guaranteed a result here.
Stevenage occupy 7th place in the League One table and the visitors find themselves two points above their upcoming hosts as Alex Revell’s side look to put an end to a disappointing four-match winless run in the third tier.
Stevenage have managed to pick up just one win in their last six league matches which came in the form of an impressive 3-1 win away from home at play-off hopefuls Stockport County but the visitors have also slipped to home and away defeats to Cardiff City as well.
Nevertheless, Stevenage have picked up useful points in draws with Burton Albion, AFC Wimbledon and Plymouth Argyle as well as possessing the third-best away record in the division of 5-3-4 14/12 so far this season.
The Betting Verdict
Stevenage are unbeaten in the last three meetings against Luton Town and the visitors registered a 2-0 home win against The Hatters in the previous corresponding fixture back in October.
