Bristol City’s inconsistent streak once again came to the fore last weekend in the Championship as The Robins slipped to a disappointing 2-1 loss at home to Watford leaving the west country hosts in a mid-table position of 10th place in the table.

Recent victories against Middlesbrough, West Brom and Sheffield United have also contributed to the west midlands visitors’ push for automatic promotion up to the Premier League while the bigger picture shows Frank Lampard’s side have suffered just two defeats in their last nine matches.
An away record of 8-5-5 36/25 has been enough to keep Coventry City top of the league but there is perhaps a slight chink in the Sky Blues’ armour when having to go on the road in the Championship.
