Kilmarnock’s turbulent campaign in the Scottish Premiership continued last weekend when Killie were handed a heavy and comprehensive 5-1 loss away from home at the hands of Falkirk, making it three games without a win for Neil McCann’s side and leaving the upcoming hosts sitting second from bottom in the table.

Hearts meanwhile registered a second 1-0 win on the trot in the Premiership to maintain their grip on top spot over 2nd placed Celtic with a home win over Aberdeen which followed a previous 1-0 win on home soil against Falkirk.
We are now approaching Alex Ferguson’s famously coined phrase of ‘squeaky bum-time’ in the Scottish top flight season as the division will shortly split into half with the top six teams then chasing a possible European spot.
Hearts have slipped to a couple of defeats in recent weeks having suffered losses at the hands of St Mirren and Rangers, both of which were away from home, while an away record of 8-2-4 24/15 is certainly not without a few flaws by any means.
