Analysis:Hull who have surprised everyone this season will travel to face the league leaders hoping to pull off a surprise here. And interestingly this match is the first league meeting between both clubs in 48 years as Liverpool host newly promoted Hull City at Anfield.
Hull City cannot be taken lightly as they have beaten Arsenal at The Emirates Stadium and also gave Manchester United a run for their money and now will aim to put a stop to Liverpool's title credentials.
Also it is interesting to note that Liverpool have failed to win their last two league games at Anfield and this time they will want to get a win here to make sure they stay top after the weekend fixtures. However they will start this match once again without star striker Fernando Torres as he continues his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury.
In his absence, Robbie Keane will start after impressing against PSV Eindhoven after he was left out of the win against Blackburn last weekend. Benitez is likely to recall the likes of Steven Gerrard, Xabi Alonso, Dirk Kuyt and Pepe Reina after they were rested for the Champions League.
The hosts will once again miss the services of Fabio Aurelio so, Andrea Dossena will battle it out with Emiliano Insua for the vacant left back slot.
As for Hull City, Phil Brown will travel to Liverpool and he will not adopt a defensive approach for this match. Marlon King will once again start in attack despite his off field problems. They will miss the services of striker Caleb Folan who is still out with a knee injury. Full-back Andy Dawson is ruled out with an Achilles so Sam Ricketts will once again start at right back.
Nick Barmby will hope to get selected against his former club while Dean Windass will once again start from the bench. Anthony Gardner and Craig Fagan are still out on long term injuries.
