2010-05-22 - Western Stormers vs NSW Waratahs
A Sports Betting Pick by Costanzo
Rugby : SANZAR : Super 14 Semi-finals
Venue : Newlands Stadium, Cape Town
Saturday, 22nd May 2010, Kickoff 19:10 SA time
The Western Stormers have a great defence and they will rely on it his week as they attempt to halt a NSW Waratahs backline that is starting to look the goods.
The Stormers have countless Springboks and have been really impressive this season. Habana and Burger have once again played up to the international level, but the likes of Bekker and Grant have emerged as important player this season. At Newlands they will be hard to beat.
Having said that I think the Tahs led by Phil Waugh can travel to the Cape and put on a decent showing. Their backline with the likes of Kurtley Beale, Lachie Turner and Drew Mitchell has come of age and is now as good as any backline in the league.
If the Tahs forwards can hold the ball long enough to get their backs into it I can see the Tahs asking some questions of the Stormers’ defence.
This may be as exciting as the other game, but given the defensive prowess of the Stormers it could be a fizzer to watch.

The Betting Tip
I think that the Stormers will edge a tight game - but I do NOT think that they will cover the point spread.
