Queens Park Rangers will aim to get the better of Tottenham who are in a poor run of form to boost their survival hopes and increase the pressure on a Tottenham. QPR were regarded as one of the favourites for relegation due to the tough set of fixtures they had to contend with in the final few weeks of the season and they are just above the drop zone.
But Hughes has set his home matches as the games that could rescue his side of staying up and he has been rewarded with three straight home victories, beating the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Swansea in their last three home games. Those wins have fulled the belief that QPR can retain their top-flight status and they will go into their latest clash with confidence.
Tottenham meanwhile are playing so poorly that they could miss out on a toip four place. They have managed just one win in eight games and have dropped to fourth spot but they are still battling with the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle and Chelsea for the battle to finish third.
Harry Redknapp's side currently occupy fourth place, level on points with Newcastle and two ahead of Chelsea, but even that may not be good enough at the end of the season as the Blues can qualify for the UEFA Champions League if they were to win the competition.
Last weekend Tottenham were beaten 5-1 by Chelsea at Wembley and they must pick themselves up quickly if they do not want to keep dropping down the standings.

QPR will be boosted for the visit of Tottenham by Djibril Cisse after he served his four match ban. The French striker was hit with the lengthy ban after being sent off against Sunderland - the second red card he had received since joining the club in January.
Shaun Wright-Phillips will also be pushing for a recall, but Alejandro Faurlin and Kieron Dyer remain out due to injuries.

Tom Huddlestone and Michael Dawson are out while moe bad news to come is that Redknapp has confirmed that midfielder Niko Kranjcar will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury he suffered in training last week. Redknapp must decide to freshen things up after the heavy defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup.
Carlo Cudicini was a surprise starter in the FA Cup tie and will surely make way for first-choice keeper Brad Friedel. Jermain Defoe and Sandro are among those who could be recalled as Redknapp looks to get his side back into the top three.
