As for Turkey they are hoping midfielder Hamit Altinto can shake off an injury before this match as he is suffering from a muscle problem. Middlesbrough striker Tuncay is ready after a back problem but is still uncertain if he will be in the starting eleven ahead of this match. Villarreal forward Nihat Kahveci will spearhead the attack with coach Fatih Terim has yet to decide on his partner. Newcastle midfielder Emre will hope to start in midfield despite being short of fitness.
