2010-01-20 - Arsenal vs Bolton
A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Analysis:Arsenal will be looking to go top of the Premiership if they can beat Bolton by 2 goals in today's encounter at The Emirates. Last Sunday they beat Bolton by 2-0 and will be looking to equal that scoreline if they are to go top of the standings.
Cesc Fabregas played a key part as he scored one and helped set up another. He has fully recovered from the hamstring injury which caused him to miss their previous three games. He will be looking at add to the four goals to his three previous starts.
Owen Coyle will not have it easy for his second game in charge as history is against him. Bolton have failed to beat Arsenal away from home since their 3-1 FA Cup win almost 16 years ago. And we have to go back to September last year to see Bolton winning away from home.
As for the team news, Theo Walcott and Denilson comes back into the Gunners side after injuries. However, Fran Merida - who scored the second goal on Sunday - misses out with an ankle problem, while Aaron Ramsey (thigh) and Samir Nasri (hamstring) are also out of this clash. Veteran defender Sol Campbell is not fully match fit and will need another week before he can start in the first team.
Alex Song and Emmanuel Eboue are away at the African Cup of Nations, while Nicklas Bendtner (groin), Kieran Gibbs (foot), Robin van Persie (ankle) and Johan Djourou (knee) are all out on the treatment table.
As for Bolton, apart from long-term casualties Joey O'Brien and Sean Davis (both knee) Owen Coyle has no new further injuries to the side. Danny Shittu is Bolton's only other absentee as he is away on international duty with Nigeria for the African Cup of Nations.
